Keeping busy without spending much money.

When it comes to an outgoing lifestyle, your funds drain out very quickly. Things such as dinners, but more likely the massive alcohol consumption has left me with nothing in my wallet few days before pay has got me thinking, is there a way to keep busy without spending much money? i have taken several approaches in order to develop a surplus of funds for future things that i can afford rather than use the plastic and build up a credit card debt. Recently i have invested in long term activities such as joining the gym, yes i am putting money in it but the money goes a long way and also goin to the gym will keep me busy for the 1-2 hours im there every day. Since the nba season has started, me and a couple of friends have started a fantasy basketball comp that Yahoo has.

Yes call me geeky but its pretty interesting as u get to pick your players in a draft and see how they go in real life which converts into the fantasy competition, hence why its called a fantasy comp lol. but yeah that has kept me busy as i look at stats of who i go on my team, read up on news, watch the game updates or even the game it self. It probabbly takes a decent 3-4 hours of my day sometimes and the best thing ITS FREE and the nba season goes for 9 months.

hopefully i can find more things to do that i wont break my wallet into pieces. I have actually cut my alcohol consumption for the past few months but by saying that its nearly end of the year, theres a few xmas parties and also new years eve parties coming up....

Sports betting

With the cost of goods increasing such as food, petrol, alcohol, clothes
and other great things most of us need to make a quick buck to fund our
habits. Many people find making a quick buck from buying shares or even
running a one off clubbing event and try to live off it weekly.

For me its sports betting. As most of you all know that I'm a mad sports
fan, basically love all kinds of sport that I even got my own sports
blog which I haven't touched in a while. I tend to put some money on
sports betting nearly every week and when there is a big sporting event
like the state of origin or the euro soccer 08.

How it started for me was when I started uni a few years ago and was
working part time that I wasn't getting paid enough to save up for a
car, as I read about sports every day, I decided to put a couple of
dollar bets for the weekend for the league and afl and usually I'd put
5-6 winners per bet and the aim is the get all of them right. If you had
one wrong and the rest right you don't win anything which I have had
every now and then. My one dollar bet would win me 40 bucks or so per
bet. Pretty good profit I must say.

Recently I have won more than I have invested over the years which has
been pretty good for me as the weekly pay packet is clearly not enough
to survive on due to some debts I have incurred and the need to pay them
off is now a must.

There have been times where I have said to a friend that this team or
person will win and never put any money on it and they end up winning
which results of me bragging that I picked it but never betted on
it.there is a saying for that

"Put your money where your mouth is"

Job interviews

Don't we just dread them? Just the thought of preparing urself with
behavorial questions and researching the company and not knowing what
they will ask you? Well I'm dreading this day.... I'm goin for a
interview this afternoon after they rang me 2 days ago and ever since I
have been stressing to the max on the questions they are gonna ask me. I
hope I answered them right and thoroughly. The only good thing I like in
interviews is asking the intervier the question which makes them think
about it before they answer.

Just for you..... but not really

Couple of weeks ago, I was in a bit of planning and waiting for
responses to come to me before the deadline, knowing the people who left
it last minute tried to convince me and said that "we got just just for
you".

For starters I know that they didn't get it just for me and just said it
to make me feel good inside the fact that they got it for me but also
feels bad aswell cause they got it for me and I'm not taking it. I
didn't feel bad but actually I felt good that I didn't take such a dodgy
deal and fell for the guilt trip.

Just cos someone does something which u take notice of, it doesn't mean
its just for you. There must be another reason behind the truth.

Hypacritasy

Im sure that sometime in our lives that we have become hypacritical in the things we say, whether we say something that you disagree on or if something is bad or you just totally bitch about something that shits you to death. I know i have been a hypacrit when it comes to things, one was i was talking negative things about something and how i didnt like the way things were done and later on i went back on it and done it anyways.

i guess most things hypacritial can come from things that we havent done for example saying to someone that smoking weed is bad but later on you do it going back on your word.

at somestage in your life, you will become a hypacrit at a choice said and then made, everyone does it.

i have had an instance where someone done something bad to my friend and later on my friend doing this to me, it kinda shits me cause i was unaware of this and never to have thought that my friend would do this to me after someone done it to them which is slack and not right but continues to do it to me but without reliasation but only realised when i told them about what they done to me.

The Greatest Irony Of Love

Loving the right person at the wrong time, having the wrong person when the time is right, and finding out you love someone right after that person walks out of your life... And sometimes, you think you're already over a person, but when you see them smile at you, you'll suddenly realize that you're just pretending to be over them just to ease the pain of knowing that they will never be yours again...
For some, they think that letting go is one way of expressing how much you love the person...In my opinion, some are afraid to see the one they love being held by someone else... Most relationships tend to fail not because the absence of love. Love is always present. It's just that one was being loved too much and the other was being loved too little..
As we all know that the heart is the center of the body but it beats on the left. Maybe that's the reason why the heart is not always right...
Most often, we fall in love with the person we think we love but to only discover that for them, we are just for past times, while the one who truly loves us remains either a friend or a stranger...

So here's a piece of advice: Let go when you're hurting too much. Give up when love isn't enough, and move on when things are not like before... For sure, there is someone out there who will love you even more...
